Orange Pushups

Soft, orange
sherbet,
creamy
sherbet,
waiting . . .
in the freezer
at Grandma's.
Soft sherbet
the color
of cantaloupe,
sherbet pushups
to slurp, lick,
drip and melt.
I go goofy
just thinking
of those soft
pushups
